Jess as Ruthie?

Gosh I hope they use her face mold for the "real" Ruthie. Her hair may be a bit dark, but she makes a lovely stand in. Just look:

Your Jess is gorgeous! It would be nice if they used her face mold for future dolls. I know I've got to have her for my little DD! Edited to add: the dress on Jess is so pretty! Is it one that you made yourself? You should think about selling them. Hint...hint!

You know we were reading Kit's Surprise last week and there are lots of Ruthie pictures.

Did anyone ever think of Marisol as Ruthie? I think the hair is just right. She's a little darker complected probably, but I'm surprised no one else has noticed.

And, yes, I hope that they use Jess's mold for other dolls. My husband and his family are not at all Asian, but all have those almond shaped eyes, so I think it would be cute on other dolls, too.

I love Jess, and the more I look at her, the more I like her. I love her as Ruthie so much that I have ordered a second Jess, and this one will hereby be known as Ruthie until an official Ruthie is released.

I did notice that Marisol had a close match on the hair. I prefer Jess' face mold for Ruthie because she seems to have a softer look than any of the other girls. It suits Ruthie's personality best IMO.

I guess my ideal Ruthie would probably have Jess' face and skin tone, Hair about the length of Jess', but in a slightly lighter auburn color, and I would LOVE to see her with almost as much curl as AGT26. Maybe she could have darker hazel eyes. If they make Ruthie right, and do not change her drastically (Think Elizabeth) the she would be a very unique, very beautiful doll! But then again, Aren't they all?

I really wanted Ruthie to be the next friend doll, but I am still very happy for all of the Molly fans out there.
